In 2020, at the start of the Covid-19 Pandemic, HCT awarded over £94,000 to 34 projects from our Emergency response fund.. For information on these awarded projects, see this report.
Across 2020 & 2021 we supported community organisations to develop new services or change the way they delivered services as a result of the impact of Covid-19 in our communities. HCT awarded £185,911 to 60 projects through our Resilience fund. View this report to read about what was funded.
In addition to this, we partnered with The National Lottery to provide funding for organisations within the London Borough of Hillingdon, click here for further information.
We were as flexible as we could be with grant-holders, and flexed reporting dates and re-purposed grants so that funds can be targeted to where they are most needed. Above all we worked in partnership with our grant-holders to best support the local community through these challenging times.

In 2021 the Covid resilience Fund is open to applications from organisations which have received funding in the period 2015-2020. There are two application deadlines 13 April 2021 and 1 September 2021. For more information please download the guidance and apply here. Across all activities, Heathrow Community Trust is committed to being as transparent as possible as a funder. This is why we joined the 360Giving initiative together with other funding bodies to publish our Covid19 Emergency and Resilience grants data.
We have used the 360 giving data standard as a way of publishing our data, in due course we will extend this to publish data on all our grants programmes.
